I have the Unregistered version of Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and just updated to newest version 1.38. Then I started Quick Scan. The scan began as expected, then after 8 seconds, the entire GUI disappeared from the screen. I assume the scan stopped and the app shut down. This never happened before with earlier versions.
I also use Trend Micro Internet Security and the MBAM.exe is marked as Allowed in Firewall.
I have done this so far:
I removed Anti-Malware from OS, rebooted, then re-installed it and had same results with sudden disappearance of GUI and app stopping.
What is going on?
I've read the other Forum Pinned Posts about freezing and lockups w/Trend Micro but since I have unregistered version, I do not have an MBAM Protection Module to stop.
How do I correct your app to again run on my PC? I have WIN XP Pro OS.

i had the same problem, to correct it i went into services and stopped all the trendmicro services and lavasoft. then ran the scan
