An elderly gent was invited to an old friends home
for dinner one evening.

He was impressed by the way his buddy preceded every
request to his wife with endearing terms such as: Honey, My Love,
Darling, Sweetheart, Pumpkin, etc.

The couple had been married almost 70 years and, clearly, they were still
very much in love.

While the wife was in the kitchen , the man leaned over to his host, 'I
think it's wonderful that, after all these years, you still call your
wife those loving pet names'.

The old man hung his head. 'I have to tell you the truth,' he said,

'Her name slipped my mind about 10 years ago ,and I'm scared to death
to ask the cranky old critter what her name is.'

oh man LOL that's rather funny. That's too bad he forgot her name, but I guess the pet names make up for it

About the only contribution i can make around here, I find this forum refreshing in its honesty and truly appreciate the ethics involved in the help aspect.
I understand business much better than i do the technical workings of a computer. I am only a reasonably competent and careful computer user but enjoy learning.
I lurk mostly and cannot thank you all enough for what i learn here!

I too appreciate all of the help of the people here and their work ethic too
I can't help very much, but I try to help with what I can if I think I can. Other than that, I make my own posts, read around and learn stuff, and basically just try to become as educated as I possible can about the huge world of computers and the internet, most of which I don't know a whole lot about.

I'm glad that you're learning! Me too
