On a XP Pro machine I have had login problems (hangs up during login and doesn't finish loading windows). Sometimes when I restart I get a "program not responding" message for " _CLS_SessionAgent" I suspected malware so I updated and ran a MBAM scan. MBAM closes after a few seconds of scanning. It seems that sometimes it hangs up on this file: C:\WINDOWS\system32\userinit.exe right before it closes the program. Thanks for your help. Here is my HijackThis log:

Hi,
I don't see anything suspicious here.
Trendmicro Internet Security is known to cause problems with Malwarebytes, so for a scan with Malwarebytes, I suggest to scan from Windows safe mode.
Then post the malwarebytes log in your next reply.
Extra note.. I see you have Viewpoint installed...
Viewpoint Manager is considered as foistware instead of malware since it is installed without users approval but doesn't spy or do anything "bad". This will change from what we know in 2006 read this article: http://www.clickz.co...cle.php/3561546
I suggest you remove the program now. Go to Start > Settings > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs and remove the following programs if present.
But imho, I think the main cause of your problems is Trendmicro itself. Not only the compatibility issue with malwarebytes, but also random problems that are reported, such as login delay, logout delay, very slow computer in general, random freezes and crashes.
That's why It's always a good idea to test and temporary uninstall Trendmicro, reboot and see if some problems are resolved afterwards. Then you know what is causing it.
