[kenbutt]

symptoms: cant open some programs(one of em being steam). Being redirected to ad sites when i use the firefox google extension and home page( i can just put in www.google.com, search something, and it wont direct me to ads though).

also i tried installing Mbam but it wouldnt install, so i renamed the install folder, then it installed but when it gets to the end of the installation, it says finishing installation and just freezes up.

Please review the following to see if it allows you to run MBAM

Procedures to help resolve issues preventing MBAM from running

• MBAM won't run(Fix), SystemSecurity
  
• MBAM wont install or will not run., CLB Rootkit driver=TDSS/Seneka/GAOPDX/UAC/ovfst/kungsf/SKYNET/MSIVX
  
• MB won't run(Fix) - Total-Security (FakeAlert)
  
• MBAM wont run (Fix) - av360 (Fakealert)
