A few hours ago I while browsing a normal website my computer froze up and then mcafee started blocking a bunch of trojans from my computer. I immediatly put my modem on standby to prevent anything from downloading but I guess it didn't help. I don't download anything from the internet so i'm a bit confused as to why it happened.

Anyways I removed the trojans from mcafee and then started a full scan with Malwarebytes.

After an hour of scanning it came up with two files called "backdoor.bot". I deleted them and rebooted. I am currently doing another scan to be sure

After that I read that using firefox with no script add on would help. So I got on firefox and downloaded the add on. A strange thing happened while I did that, a netscape browser window opened and got locked up. I don't use netscape so it was really confusing. I had to use ctrl + alt + delete to get off of it since it locked up. Does anyone know if that had to do anything with the trojans or was it from getting the add on?

If it turns out that I still have the virus should I do a system reformatt?

Any help is appreciated...
