I wanted to run MBAM to make sure my pc was still clean... I clicked update and it did the normal process... but at the end instead of saying MBAB#### is now #### or whatever the message is it reopened the setup and reinstalled it and said you need to restart your pc to finish installation.. so I do, and then after it rebooted I opened up MBAM did a quick scan and nothing showed up as I thought it would be... any ideas about why it did this, or is this normal?

And I should note...after the reboot I attempted to update and the whole update process went as normal... and it did successfully update and after it updated that is when I ran the scan...

My guess is that it has to do with the new updates that the older versions did not have:
- * (FIXED) Installer uses /updateshowdialog now instead of /runupdate.
* (FIXED) /runupdate no longer displays program update dialog. Only /updateshowdialog does.
* (FIXED) Problem removing registry items with (default) values.
* (FIXED) Minor issues with 32-bit context menu. (64-bit coming soon).
* (FIXED) Multiple significant issues with protection module.
* (ADDED) Scanner returns error codes (error levels) for batch file users.
* (ADDED) Protection module now logs errors and threats to a log file.
