cmd won't run

When typing cmd or command in the Run command prompt (XP), nothing occurs. Has anyone had this problem and can anyone help. Thanks!

You might need to download another Command Prompt. I've seen where this has happened actually.

You can check if theres a black icon in your: C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32 folder, called cmd.exe
