I am running Malwarebytes, Ad-Watch from Ad-Aware, and Avast antivirus with on-access protection.
I figure that I am protected from viruses with Avast and from "malware"with Malwarebytes, but is it necessary and/or harmful to also run Ad-Watch for "adware"? Does Malwarebytes adequately protect against adware? I am concerned about problems if all these programs try to eliminate something at the same time.
Thanks.

Don't be concerned I run three scanners, + Malwarebytes with the Protection Module On, If you pick something up, in a millisecond one of the programs will pick it up. I've had Malwarebytes grab an infection, and my AV poped up... Since Malwarebytes, got it 1st. it went to Quaratine. The AV program was just an alert. A ghost image! Nothing was in my AV since it went into Malwarebytes Quaratine. regards..
