Hello! I am having the exact same problem at the person in this forum (http://www.malwareby...969) - but I do not have the TDDSserv.sys file on my computer. I followed all of the instructions, but it was not there. Can someone help me? No matter what I do, I cannot get this bug off of my computer. I have Mcafee, but it will no longer scan. Malwarebytes won't open. Ad-Aware runs occasionally, but does not remedy the problem. PLEASE HELP!!

I have tried all of that stuff, and Malwarebytes will not run a scan. Immediately after dowloading, it will start to scan for approximately 3 seconds and then will shut down. After that happens, it will not re-open. I get the following error:
"Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item."
Please help!

Did you read the rest of Advanced Setup's reply? You need to post in the HJT logs section. Even if you cant run any tools, you need to post a detailed explanation of what is happening. No logs or malware removal is done in the general forum. All of this is in the links AS gave you in the last reply. Be sure not to post back to your post in the HJT forum until someone has helped you, as this changes the post count and they may think you have already been helped. Thanks!
