I Have A Problem I Was Looking At ipods on google images with malwarebytes mcafee (mcafee was on mbam was off) and WOT When I Clicked A Link (Dunno The Site) It Took Me To A Fake Scanner Page and i was like i think the page was [/code]antimalwarescannerv2.com[/code]
file was setup.exe (i think) mcafee went crazy saying we were infected
with smart protecter (or summit like dat) run a scan with malwarebytes nothing found( we run the "full scan" )

Umm... Anyone Know What Happened?

Ok let looks at what you have said.

AV running in realtime= Mcaffee
MBAM on demand so not running or protecting in real time.

You end up on fake scanner page and like many goto download the trojan installer file,in this case called setup.exe.

Mcaffee realtime catch's and alerts to the trojan installer as you download it and you will have told your AV to delete or send to quarantine(Not sure if Mcafee does that).

Net result the file has been removed by your AV in realtime !

You then wonder why MBAM full scan finds nothing...maybe because there is nothing for it to find as it has already been dealt with
