Hello,

I've had a series of malware infections for 2 days now. McAfee finds GenericFakeAlert but can't clean it. Malwarebytes has found and cleaned a lot of stuff but not this one. It keeps returning. The PC is working better now - not hanging but I'm still getting a lot of PopUps for pcsecurity sites etc. It's attempting to execute a script in the Temp folder.

HijackThis didn't find anything, nor Spybot.

Am thinking of downloading trial Norton Internet Security 2009 in the hope that it might find something. I thought I'd try here first.
