Hi. I am new to Malwarebytes software and would like some advice.

I just did my first full scan. Two items, both with the same name, were found. I am not sure what these items are as I found no further information about them on the MB website or during a Google search. Here is what the scan found:

Vendor: Disabled.Security Category: Registry Data Item: HKEY_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Micro...
Other: Bad (1) Good (0) Action Taken: No Action Taken

As you can see, the item name is incomplete because it was too lengthy - I guess. But it seems that it could be a microsoft program, which I'm not sure I should remove.

I would appreciate your advice on what action I should take.

Thank you.

RJ

PS: Is there a way to view the full name of items found?

for not choose not to fix it and then the program should create a log. Post back that log.

Thank you for your reply.

I chose ignore, but did not get a log file. Perhaps I misunderstood you?

I was also wondering why I didn't have an option for quarantining these possible infections?

if you chose to fix it then it should have placed it in Quarantine.

you can also run START - RUN - "C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\mbam.exe" /developer and then do a Quick Scan

That should create a log file that you can post back for us to look at.
