I've attempted to clean the infection manually by deleting files, dlls, deleting registry keys etc, every time I restart, the infection deepens and/or re-installs.

Malwarebytes will open only directly from download (After install, with Launch button checked.)
HiJackThis will not open at all.
Spybot will not open at all.
Cannot open MANY exe files, including Add/Remove Programs.
Regedit can only be accessed after using Symantec's UnHookExec.inf file, and only through Run>Command at the prompt. Typing cmd at Run won't open it.

Related Rogues Appearing:
Windows Antivirus Pro
PC Antispyware 2010
Possibly also Home Antivirus 2010 but this did not install program files like the other two. Only reason I know it was lurking was that it had an error running after I deleted the registry keys for the other two programs.

Attempts to download and run automatic fixes from blogs/tech forums have failed as well, files are blocked by the virus.

Hi BLucier and welcome to Malwarebytes.

Download DDS by sUBs and save it to your Desktop.

Double-click on the DDS icon and let the scan run. When it has run two logs will be produced, please post please post the one that is not minimized.

Next, please visit this webpage for instructions for running ComboFix:

  • When the tool is finished, it will produce a report for you.
  • Please post the C:\ComboFix.txt so we may continue cleaning the system.
