I am unable to run the mbam application. After 6 seconds, the program closed.

I followed the directions to download Process Explorer and "killed" the application with the random numbers

I then tried to rename the mbam file and the message read "Cannot rename mbam: access is denied make sure the disk is not full or write-protected and that the file is not currently in use."

Nothing else is open on my computer

I believe the PC Antispyware 2010 is preventing me from altering any of the settings and changing the directory names.

Can someone help? I have so many pop-ups and this virus is interfering with internet explorer!

Thanks so much :(

Hi,

* Please visit this webpage for instructions for downloading and running ComboFix:

http://www.bleepingc...to-use-combofix

Post the log from ComboFix in your next reply.

Please make sure you disable ALL of your Antivirus/Antispyware/Firewall before running ComboFix..This because Security Software may see some components ComboFix uses (prep.com for example) as suspicious and blocks the tool, or even deletes it. Please visit HERE if you don't know how.
