lately i had problems when trying to update mbam database getting "error 732", I also have avira premium installed and it seems that the avira webguard module blocks mbam connection to the database. I have "resolved" this by adding mbamīs database url to aviraīs webguard exeptions:
in expert mode go to online protection -> webguard -> configuration -> scan -> exeptions, and add "llnw.net" to the URLs skipped by webguard list
hope this helps someone and sorry if my english is poor

Someone mentioned this earlier today. I think it has already been reported to Avira, but I thought it was already fixed. Try updating AntiVir and see if it still happens.

This may just be an issue with the free version. Other Premium users of AntiVir have said they don't have the issue. Either way, this may be something that Avira has to fix. Especially if it's something that just started happening today.

Interesting. Our CDN works based on local (you pull the database off of a different server based on where you are in the world, or in your country). It's possible that AntiVir is only blocking certain servers.

I am using avira premium security suite (with active webguard) and I don't have any problem updating mbam.
