Hello MBAM OR SAS

Do you own an HP computer/laptop, it could be the SoftThinks software which is installed in the HP computers that have a preinstalled OS, it is esential in making your recovery disks.

You could go to C:\Windows\SMINST\launcher.exe and rightclick launcher.exe, then select properties. What does it say on the Details tab? and to verified its SoftThinks software

I do not own a hp laptop.Under the detail tab,the product name is soft think launcher and the file size is 39.1kb so I guess it's safe.
Thanks for you help.

Check out this thread on the vistax64 forums. It's very informative, particularly the third post.
