Here's a thread from wilders that you might want to read through
Except for the last 2 post this has not even been posted to since 2007 and was started in 2005. Pretty much any software from back in 2007 has to be vastly different.
I have used this one myself when needed, but I can not vouch for the program but I've not noticed any problems with it.

I'm not a big download manager fan but occasionally, you just can't get around using one if a site is overloaded. I've used Free Download Manager in the recent past. It's an open source program with a ton of features and is very configurable. It certainly gets the job done. Might want to at least take a look.

I've used Orbit in the past as well to grab Flash/Shockwave based content and it worked very well

I use Downloadhelper ad-on on FF https://addons.mozil...efox/addon/3006 I have had no problems with it at all, you do need to install a converter that they have if you want to change the format of things but that is free and easy to install.
Vista HB 32 bit,WoT,ABP,Sandboxie free,MBAM,Ccleaner,NoScript,AVG 2011 free,Hostsman

Ah... a bit confusing then. You appear to have just wanted a method to download streaming video which I suppose counts as a download manager but is way under powered compared to a real download manager.
but glad you were able to find something you liked.

Someone was interested in a Download Manager Heres a site to a free one someone just mailed me: http://www.freewarefiles.com/Free-Download...gram_13352.html

No trees were harmed in the posting of this message...however an extraordinarily large number of electrons were horribly inconvenienced.
