Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware version 1.41 has been released. As this is primarily a bugfix release, if you had issues with 1.40, please let us know if 1.41 resolves them.

OK Here it goes....

Winxp sp3 all updates
McAfee Enterprise 8.7.0i

First I installed McAfee
Second I installed Malwarebytes and enabled protection
Third I followed instructions for modifing McAfee settings from Here
Also have registry keys for delayed start of malwarebytes
Rebooted a couple of times, and so far so good.
Ran a Quick Scan

If I delete all the extra language files leaving only english.lng MBAM won't start, returning Error Code 707 (0, 0)
Needs to have dutch.lng there as well.

Greetings BAM and welcome  .

If that's the case, then I'd recommend not deleting the language files as they aren't very large and don't occupy much space anyway :) .

Works fine for me so far, no troubles so far.

It starts with Windows, as does the IP blocking and the protection module.

Atribune.org is now unblocked for me as well (I have XP).

No trees were harmed in the posting of this message...however an extraordinarily large number of electrons were horribly inconvenienced.

Same situation, but chineseTR.lng instead of dutch.lng.

Hello BAM and Manide

Please do not alter the install and it should work properly. Certainly you don't go around randomly deleting files from installation programs and then contact the publisher to complain that it isn't working.

Please see my post above (#8).

I've read all posts before mine. Just wanted to mention this, which didn't happen before.

I apologise if my post offended.

Best regards!

I've just updated to version 1.41 and it's working well. Much as the IP Protection function is appreciated, I find the constant notifications in the taskbar rather irritating - is there a method to disable notifications without IP Protection also?
Another subscriber to this thread mentioned an auto-update capability, I thoroughly agree this would be a great idea..!
Thanks for the good work.

No offense taken, I was just stating that if the only cause of the problem is removing those files, then I'd leave them alone  .

Perhaps I've misunderstood what you mean, but there's a box you can check under the Protection tab that enables you to set a time for automatic updates once a day. This feature has been there for as long as I've used MBAM, so perhaps you're referring to something else?
