I've notice that MBAM does not quick scan the default folder with the latest version 1.41. Is there a reason for this?

Bruce says "Can't add everything to Quick Scan". :)

As far as it not being scanned, note that anything attempting to load from that folder will get scanned, but it never was in the list of folders to scan when performing a Quick Scan. The big assumption is that pretty much everyone saves to their desktop to run things, so the Download folder gets very little usage on the average computer.

Personally, I see nothing wrong with scanning that folder, but you've got to convince Bruce that it's important to scan it.

And, of course, after I post that Bruce says "I'll add it, see if people complain about scan speed."

The older versions like 1.40 scanned that folder! I'm just saying that 1.41 does not!

Odd. According to Bruce it was never in the list of folders to be scanned.

Oh well, it's in the list now, so you should be good to go after an update.
