Hello,
I recently tried to start up my program and got the following message:
The database you are using in not supported by this version of Malwarebytes' Anti-malware. Download the latest version of the program.
If I select scan the main menu will pop up. I checked and I have version 1.41. If I do the update it says there are no other versions available.
Why am I seeing this message?
Thanks,
Jason

Hi,
I figured this out. I have changed the mbam.exe in the start awhile back due to some other issues I was having to malware.exe. I put the orginal file mbam.exe back in place and all is good now.
Thanks.

Hello all,
I've recently recieved the same message that Jay Wray did when trying to update my MBAM (full version, not free). I'd been away from my PC for just over a week, so nothing would have changes, as far as I know.
I can't seem to find much in the way of answers in the forums for this problem (I hope I'm not just being blind!) and don't quite understand what Jay Wray's solution was.
Thanks in advance if you're able to help me out.

Welcome to Malwarebytes! I believe the above poster changed the name of the file & changed it back?
You can try a un-install, a clean tool, & re-install!! Since the poster above changed the file name back to the original name.
I don't know what issues he had aslo!
Try this below please & post back with your report...regards...
please try a clean tool below, remove the program and re-install again
1. Uninstall Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware using Add/Remove programs in the control panel.
2. Restart your computer (very important).
3. Download and run this utility. http://www.malwareby.../mbam-clean.exe
4. It will ask to restart your computer (please allow it to).
5. After the computer restarts, install the latest version from here. http://www.malwareby...am-download.php
Note: You will need to reactivate the program using the license you were sent
Launch the program and set the Protection and Registration. Then go to the UPDATE tab if not done during installation and check for updates.
Restart the computer again and verify that MBAM is in the task tray and run a Quick Scan.
