Ill tell you why I feel like this program rocks too.
At the start of the year, I had a massive virus on my PC, it wouldnt do anything, and nothing could remove it. I purchaced AVG, didng work, I purchaced Norton, didnt work, and I purchaced Nod32. Nod 32 found it, but couldn't delete it.
At the time, I said to myself, when I have money, ill buy this program. But I just got lazy and forgot.
Anyways, today, I just had a major virus again. Infact in 4 hours, it spread into 161 files. Luckily, I unplugged the internet after updating malwarebytes, and boom. Malwarebytes fixed it with one scan and a reboot.
So that was it, ive purchaced this program, and also emailed Nod32, AVG and Norton to tell them how crappy their software is compared to this. I mean the free version of this outdid 3 programs that I PURCHASED.
So, malwarebytes. You deserved my £25, and I feel good about giving you my money even though i could have just kept the free version.
Thank you for your product, you have saved me twice now.

Glad MBAM took care of business
. I hope you still have an antivirus running as well. MBAM is meant to run alongside your AV. I personally use the free version of Avira and it works great with MBAM

Greetings and welcome
.
Wow, that's a great account and says a lot about the success of Malwarebytes'
. I'm not part of the staff, but I am a forum regular and a huge fan of Malwarebytes' myself because I've also seen how truly effective it can be. I'm glad that Malwarebytes' was so effective for you, however, please do keep in mind that it is not a replacement for your antivirus software, but merely a supplement designed to catch the nasties that most AV's either fail to detect, fail to remove, or both. Your story simply proves that it is doing its job and that the developers and staff behind Malwarebytes' have done theirs
. I would highly recommend that along with Malwarebytes', you also keep a good AV software installed on your system and active, as this will help to provide a more complete level of protection for your system from internet threats. My personal recommendations would be:
Note: If you decide to use one of the trial versions of one of the paid antiviruses then you will either need to purchase it or uninstall it completely and install a replacement antivirus before the trial expires so that your PC is not left unprotected.
edit: Prairie Dog beat me to it

Just an FYI- the free version of Avira has been having a few updating issues recently, but it should be fixed. The servers used for their free version become overloaded when they release a large update because they have over 100 million users. I believe they are working on a solution. When this does occur, it usually just takes longer than normal to get the update.
Very lightweight and great detection rate
Let us know if you need anything further
EDIT: Just updated my Avira and everything is fine

It sure did.
With regards to Avira. I just started scanning, and it somehow made my motherboards speaker make a crazy sound. Scared me for a second, but thats kinda cool

Welcome mightymints
Your choice is apt. Avira + Mbam is a good combination & will give you peace of mind.
Wish you don't get infected.
