What program are you trying to use to burn the DVD? Are you using the built-in Windows utility? Have you tried ImgBurn? It's free.
Desktop ----- AMD Athlon 3700+ (2.64Ghz), 2GB DDR 400, ASUS A8N-SLI Premium, 500GB HD, Windows XP Pro SP3, Avira Antivir Personal, MBAM Pro
Laptop ----- Intel C2D P8400 (2.4 Ghz), 4GB DDR3 1066, Mainboard, 160GB HD, Dualboot: Windows 7/openSUSE 11.1, Avira Antivir Personal

If you have routinely burnt iso images sucessfully with the same burner & burner software that you are having, then try the below 2 steps :

Use a fresh disk for the below checks.

1) try to burn a image which you would have burnt previously. If it is succesful then this new iso file you are telling may be corrupt. If this step fails then -

2) try burning after Uninstalling & reinstalling your burning soft. If this step also fails then -

3) download gburner (homepage : www.gburner.com) & try. gburner footprint is only 3 mb so it's lite but very reliable burner.

As swagger says, try ImgBurn. It's free and it's an excellent program. It's the only program I use for burning disk images.
