Hello All:

I am unable to do any updates on the PC such as WINDOWS UPDATES and install any programs that require to check on the net first for updates before installing....such as SPYBOT or AVG...

I did finally get AVG installed and I had 4 virus's on the system the VB.FEN and had them removed, but I am still unable to get updates.

I do have internet connection, I can sign onto YAHOO IM and browse the web, but UPDATES are not working....

Just some added information....

I am unable to install Malware onto the system...when I double click the icon the program does not install. I have to CTRL-ALT-DELETE due to inactivity. Also SPYBOT will not install and if I try to install Windows Defender, I get the message tell me to turn off the Microsoft Client Protection first....

I have no clue what to do next, but need your help....

Update...

I was able to get Malware to install, I had to change the SETUP file name to something other than the default and once I did that I was able to install the program...Running scan now and 7 infections so far....

I am hoping this will correct the UPDATE issue....does anyone know if program will correct that issue?

Problem solved once Malware scanned and found all that crap and removed it....
