I am having trouble with my computer running Windows Media Professional SP2 since yesterday.
I must have opened some spyware video file. First a rogue spyware known as Window Police Pro got loaded onto the machine. It would not let me cancel out of its screen. I tried to run Malwarebytes. As I went to the update tab on Malwarebytes screen to download the latest version (I ran Malware about a month back), a spywareguard message flashed that a registry key is being changed and unauthorized BHO object has been installed. It asked me whether I want to keep it or delete it. I clicked the delete option.
After that, my computer has kind of crashed. None of the windows programs are running. E.g When I click on MS Word, a black DOS screen appears for a second and then disappears. None of the programs are working. Even I cannot run Malwarebytes. A similar black screen appears for abt a second.
I tried running using the Windows last known good configuration but nothing happened. Even most of the options on Control Panel like Add/Remove program, Systems etc are not running saying c:\window\system32\rundll32.exe - Paremeter incorrect. Same black DOS screen opens up.
Please help urgently.
