Hi folks,

Couple of weeks ago, I had to do a clean install of my Vista Home Premium, SP1, 64-Bit on my laptop ... since I was having all kinds of problems ... NOT A VIRUS ... but somehow I had managed to clubber my OS that my CPU & RAM were constantly running at full capacity.

Anyway, after I reinstalled my OS from the "D" Drive ... every time that I start my laptop, I have to "Authorize" MBAM to run ... I never had this happen before.

I checked and I noticed that MBAM is running some "Script" in a "Silent Mode"!!! But since I trust MBAM I OK it every time.

BTW, I run Comodo Firewall and I have OK'ed MBAM in it.

Q1: Why is MBAM now acting different than the last year that I have used it?

Q2: What is the deal with the Silent Script?

Q3: How can I make it to Start automatically without asking for my Permission each time I restart my laptop?

Thanks,

G!

Greetings  .

There is a known issue where this sometimes occurs with the MBAM startup entry. To correct it please download, extract and execute the reg file in this post. Let me know if that fixes things up for you.

Thanks ;) .

Hi Exile360,

As usual THANKS friend. You know since I have so much trouble with Registry being clogged up and screwed up ... I am just leaving well alone ... it takes me only one click to get it going so I will leave my set up as is.

Thanks again!

G! :(

You're quite welcome  . Just for reference, as well as reassurance, executing that .reg file won't muck up your registry at all, it will only remove that startup entry and cause MBAM to behave normally again. You can use it with confidence, but I understand if you're nervous about it ;) .
