I opened MBAM this morning to run my daily scan. But as soon as I clicked to run the updates I received the message "Error code 703 (0,13). Please contact MBAM support". I tried rebooting my PC and then tried opening MBAM again, but it flashed up the same error message straight away.

I checked on this forum for any info on this error message but in the listed error messages I see the advice is to contact MBAM - so here I am <_<

Can anyone please help me to sort this out?
Thanks in advance.

Please try downloading and running this and see if it corrects it or not.

I tried downloading & running this file, but it keeps coming up as "An error occurred while trying to copy this file. A source file is corrupted." Do you have a newer version?

If you're running XP you can try deleting this file:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Malwarebytes\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\rules.ref
And attempt the rules update download again.

If that does not work then it's also quite possible that either your Anti-Virus is blocking the update, program or you may be infected.
Please see the FAQ if your Anti-Virus is possibly blocking otherwise you may need to have someone assist you with Malware detection and removal.
