Greetings kind souls,
As you can probably glean from the title of this post, this computer has been infected with Rootkit TDSS. This is the last in a series of infections that have been coming up since a week back when a Fake Trojan Alert appeared.
I have AVG, Spyware Doctor, Mbam, and SuperAntiSpyware, and have been scanning with all of them alternately. After these viruses are located and removed, it is only a matter of days until a new one is found. Since my understanding of these things is limited, I can only imagine that somewhere in the hard drive, one of these applications has a 'foothold' beyond the reach of the scanners. So if anyone can tell me how I can get rid of this for good, I would be very grateful.
Other symptoms:
1) When computer boots, error message:
RUN DLL
Error loading C:\WINDOWS\aqobuzix.dll
The module could not be found
2) Not possible to start computer in safe mode
3) Sometimes computer will not shut down
Regards,
a.

Hello elka and welcome to the forums here at MalwareBytes.
Can you please run MBAM (make sure to update it first) and post the log.
Also, download DDS and save it to your desktop from here or here or here.
Disable any script blocker, and then double click dds.scr to run the tool.

- When done, DDS will open two (2) logs:
- DDS.txt
- Attach.txt
- DDS.txt
- Save both reports to your desktop. Post them back to your topic.
