Hi
Had the above error code this morning when trying to run malwarebytes. Read a few of the other posts here and ran below as suggested by AdvancedSetup on Flapjacks post.
http://www.malwareby.../mbam-rules.exe
Seems to have respolved the problem as I can now run Malwarebytes - question is do I need to do anything else to make sure it doesn't crash again.
I'm running AVG. Search & Destroy with tea timer enabled, spyware guard and spyware blaster
Many thanks

I'd recommend that you exclude the following files from your antivirus to avoid any potential conflicts:
For Windows XP:
If you're using an operating system other than XP (ie Vista or 7) please let me know as the paths to the files are different. Also let me know if you are running a 64 bit version of one of those operating systems.

Error code 703 means: Error parsing the database.
Please download the utility from the following link, and it should reinstall the database so that you can update it through Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware:
http://www.malwareby.../mbam-rules.exe
It may also be necessary to reinstall Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware. To do so, please uninstall Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware normally, restart your computer, run the utility at the following link, restart your computer again, and then reinstall Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware.
