Getting an error "Runtime error 383 Text property is read only." How can I fix this. Have tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Please help.

Hi and welcome to the forum!
Try this and see if it helps. Post back with the results please
# Uninstall Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware using Add/Remove programs in the control panel.
# Restart your computer (very important).
# Download and run this utility. mbam-clean.exe
# It will ask to restart your computer (please allow it to).
# After the computer restarts, Temporarily disable your Anti-Virus and install the latest version of Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware from here
Note: You will need to reactivate the program using the license you were sent if you are using the paid version

If nothing there helps with this issue then please let us know.
Is this the free version of the registered version of the program?
What Operating System are you running it on ?

Yes this is the free version thats available for download. I'm running it on Windows 2000. Thanks and will take a look at the FAQ and post back.

Please print out, read and follow the directions here, skipping any steps you are unable to complete. Then post a NEW topic here.
