I was unlucky to get tauobex.exe this week. Running Malwarebytes and nod32 in safe mode did not remove it. It was using up 30% of memory, control v etc no longer worked. Stopping the process in msconfig startup was not permanent, it just replicated itself. Couldn't stop it by 'end process' in task manager. Finally, a kind techie at Eset had me go to msconfig startup in safe mode. This did stop it. He then had me look for the file and submit it to them. Maybe this could be useful to any other poor recipients of this nasty little file. I have a hijack this file for anyone who wants to look at it.
