Hi,
Started getting this today and nothing I've done from other threads has fixed it. I can't even start MBAM now. I do run AVG ...
It's been the third major issue with Malwarebytes in the past three months for me. I'm an IT professional with 30 years in the business and I've recommended that my friends BUY your program but the last three months have been filled with issues and I'm starting to look foolish.
The IP blocking, is blocking good sites and there's no IP exception addition to the program to date as promised.
Please get these issues fixed, I'm not a free user and have recommended that my friends pay for your program which they have done but I'm not sure why you're having so many issues recently that are unresolved.
Thanks

Hi Bryan.
Have you added any exclusions to your AV program for MBAM?
I see that you are using AVG, did you see the post here?:

It seems that AVG is having issues resolving this, although I believe they are working on it. This has nothing to do with MBAM if you have added the necessary exclusions, especially if exclusions are being ignored by an AV company, as sometimes is the case, unfortunately. I would urge you to contact them as well, to let them know whats going on. The more people that let them know whats going on, the better.

As for the IP's being blocked, they may or may not be on a malicious range or malicious themselves, if you are unsure, please post them here:

along with the website addresses so that someone can look into that for you.
You can temporarily turn off IP blocking if you'd like, and also you can find more information here about IP blocking:

I remember that sometime back one of the admins' said that whitelisting feature will be incorporated in future version.

Hi, none of the topics helped the issue. I tried the exclude but no help ...
I guess I'll wait for a few days and see if AVG resolves it.
Right now, MBAM doesn't start and errors when I boot up ...
It started as an error when trying to update Friday night and now it won't even allow MBAM to even startup ...

I'm sorry that none of the links worked out for you Bryan
You can try support [at] malwarebytes.org if you'd like to see if you could get some one-on-one help via email.
Hopefully AVG will resolve this soon. This is the 3rd or 4th time they've had an issue with MBAM this year if I remember correctly
It's really too bad.
