MB says its malicious 218.8.245.96 and 216.34.131.135 but I can't get any source to identify these IP as even in existence. My PC is trying to contact them(somehow) but I don't see evidence that these IP are any good....how can they be malicious??

IP 216.34.131.135 is assigned to :- dbs administration pty. ltd.

australia

Only you can tell if you wish to communicate through these routes.

Paulinjc, from your description it's likely you're infected. Please read and follow the instructions here taking particular note of where to post the requested logs.

The IP 216.34.131.135, is on a range of over 123 malicious sites.
