I was wondering if someone could tell me how to remove the harddrive from a computer?
My parents would like to remove the harddrive from our first computer and destroy it, but don't know how to remove it. They asked me, and I don't know how either, so here I am posting

I was wondering though, if you or anyone else might have some step-by-step directions I could follow, as I am really a read-it and learn type of person for the most part, although visuals definitely help:)

Could you post your Acers computer model number, it could help guide you through the removal of the hdd. Destruction of an HDD > drilling holes > chop saw, cutting it in half and the hammer/awl method etc.
