Been having this problem for awhile and have tried everything on microsoft help. Anytime I try to log into any secure (https) website I get "page cannot be displayed Cannot find server or DNS Error
Internet Explorer " So I cant login to gmail, my bank site or almost anything that requires a login. This is something I've searched extensively online and nothing that I've found has worked. The one thing I haven't tried is to delete all updates since 9/1/09 which is about when this all started. Could something in one of the windows updates be causing this? I'm running a stock Dell Inspiron 1150 Win XP IE6. I have downloaded IE7 and IE8 but once downloaded neither one will connect to the internet to anypage, so I uninstall and stay with IE6 because then at least I can get web access
