These banned Xbox rigs make a good doorstop. :)

Information Week released a story earlier today revealing that Microsoft has banned around 1 million Xbox Live members the company believes are playing pirated games via modified hardware.

Yep, and apparently it is working, I have heard a few people discussing it online...but what do you expect, you are basically stealing from MS...

They still work offline though, so it will only be a doorstop if you get the Red Ring of Death...I've had it twice... :)

Consoles banned from Xbox Live will still function if games are played offline, but players booted from the Xbox Live service will not be able to sign into their accounts or engage other players over the Internet.

COD MW2 is great BTW... :)

There is a computer disease that anybody who works with computers knows about. It's a very serious disease and it interferes completely with the work. The trouble with computers is that you 'play' with them!(Richard Feynman)
