Hello,

My customer is using your software and gets the following message when trying to access my site: MalwareBytes popping up to say it has "successfully blocked access to malicious IP:68.180.151.74"

The domain name is www.salesedutainment.com and is hosted on Yahoo. This site is not malicious. Please fix this immediately and send me an email when it is fixed.

It's not your site that's being targetted. The IP Protection targets IP addresses only. Unfortunately in this case, your site happens to be on an IP that has a plethora of malicious sites;

http://hosts-file.net/?s=68.180.151.74

I'd strongly urge you to move your site to a different hosting company, or ask your present host to move your site to a different IP until such time as they bother to respond to and take action on, abuse reports.

Steven,

You are telling me that your software blocks IPs that are hosted on Yahoo web hosting? This seems a bit extreme.

Not on all of their IP's, no, just IP's such as this, that have a very large amount of malicious domains present. If Yahoo bothered to respond to and take action on, abuse reports, the IP wouldn't have been blocked.

Steven,

I understand your dilemma but you need to understand mine. As of right now you are costing me money because your company chose to block an entire IP range.

Please investigate my site and determine that it is not malicious and when you update your client's software unblock my site.

It's not an IP range that has been blocked, only this individual IP. It is also not possible to unblock domain names as this facility is not available.

It is old problem with Malwarebytes and big disadvantage of IP protection. Tha;s way i have disabled IP protection feature as it is more annoying than useful.

As you usually know on one IP address (server) are usually hosted a couple hundred web sites. If only one site from a couple hundred has been hacked of cracked or whatever program will block all other innocent site's.
IP Address Locator to trace any IP address in the world.
IP Lookup to find out what is your IP address.
