Hi, hope this is not repeative, but I Bill Gates has not Vista Home Edition user friendly... I get code 646 when trying to upload updates and the trouble shooting window does not help solve it... I was able to clean the register with an alternate tool, the microsoft patch is crazy to figure out, give me a black screen and it tells me to type in product, but then it closes when I tried to type it in??? any ideas on how to fix this code??? My needed updates are mounting and none can be downloaded.. If it helps I have a laptop, vista premium home addition, 32 bits Thanks, thisw is really frustrating...
