I receive the first error code when trying to load malwarebytes, and then the second after I press "OK" on the first error message. I'm running XP with I8, I believe.

Also, I'm a moron. That's important to note. I've been having some issues with my computer, and MB, Spybot, or CA Anti-virus was picking anything up, so I deleted some suspect program and application files.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi prairie dog,

Thanks for the quick response. I guess I wasn't under the assumption that I had malware to remove, but rather that I accidentally moved something to the recycle bin that caused a start-up error with MB.

Either way, I'm guessing you know something I don't, so I posted these error codes along with the HJT log in the malware forum. I'll assume this is the proper step unless you indicate otherwise.

Thanks again for the prompt service.

you might try this while you wait for a response in the HJT log forum to see if it helps.

# Uninstall Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware using Add/Remove programs in the control panel.
# Restart your computer (very important).
# Download and run this utility. mbam-clean.exe
# It will ask to restart your computer (please allow it to).
# After the computer restarts, Temporarily disable your Anti-Virus and install the latest version of Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware from here

Note: You will need to reactivate the program using the license you were sent if you are using the paid version
