Why do people not drive fast in the fast lane? Seriously. I'll be following someone going 80 mph and when we start to pass a semi-truck going 65 they'll start going 66. It's called cruise control!! - Sorry for the rant but I had a rough drive home.

After doing a way over 100,000 KMS of driving (probably more, but I've changed cars a lot) in about 30years
I have concluded that people like sticking next to people
ie They would all like driving in some big long train of cars (with a few feet between them) Than drive off ahead (or slow to way behind)
Why? Well it seems people feel safer in a pack. Mind you if one crashed, no one would care, unless of course it was the first one, then obviously everyone would crash into themselves.

I never drive in the pack, and I do my best to get past them (or sometimes drop way back) Its just not safe driving like that I feel.
Except obviously peak hour where I'm forced to stick right next to others.

Oh, and watch out for road rage, its a killer :)
