You have to have 50 or more posts. Also, you have to be trained to help people in the Hijackthis forum

The first part of kpgumbo's post is correct. You need to have at least 50 posts before you can edit. This is to avoid people who are getting help in the malware removal section from changing their posts. Once you get to 50, you will have the 'edit post' capability. I hope this helps

If you stick around long enough it won't be too hard. A good start would be introducing yourself in the General Chat area of the forum

Just to ask, on what sections do actual posts count? Are there some sections where if you post the post count will not go up?

Dell Precision T5400, Win7 Ultimate 32bit fully updated, Symantec Endpoint Protection,
Watchguard Firewall, Intel Xeon CPU, Dual Quad Core Processors, 4GB Ram,
E5410 @ 2.33GHz, Nvidia Quadro FX570, Raid-1 Dual 500GB Sata 10000 rpm Hard Drives

I was wondering about that; I hate it when I make embarrassing typo's that I can't fix
