Symptoms include:
-MBAM attempted to start scanning, then disappeared on first attempt. On second attempt, it would not let me open MBAM, saying that I "did not have acess".
-Latest version of McAfee downloaded and attempted to run scan. Unknown error message comes up.
-Browser activity: all attempts to go to a website on either my favorites or history would first go to a Google search. Any browsers open for more that approx. 1/2 hour would close. While attempting to run an online scan, browser closes and now I cannot connect to the internet at all. It says that I "do not have access". Similar error message to when I try to run MBAM.
I have been following other posts on similar situations and have tried to use some of the options given there (Avenger, OTL, Combo-fix, kapersky, etc.) and while Kapersky found and removed a large amount of items, the above problems still exist. How should I proceed?? Thank you in advance.
