Hi,
I'm not sure if anyone has reported this but the "Pinned" fix for the AVG 703 error works in Windows XP.
No more problems and all is fine ...
Thanks

And if you decide to uninstall AVG from Control Panel
Make sure to run the AVG Remover, straight away
Then Restart
I use Free Avira Antivirus, and find it to be the best (IMHO)
If you do decide to install free Avira, make sure to update it (note the first update may be slow)
Then run a full scan (to remove all the Malwares that AVG missed

Hi thanks,
I use Malwarebytes to remove Malware, not AVG.
BTW, they're first or latest updates aren't slow ...

Malware can be referred to as Virus and Trojans and Spyware and Adware and everything else that is malicious
Therefore AntiVirus software is also a "Malware" remover program
Malwarebytes (the best Malware removal tool in my opinion) is not meant to replace any live protecting Antivirus software, as it does not have the amount of "Virus" detections that a standard updated Antivirus software protection has.
My understanding is that you were using AVG, as per this topic, are you using free AVG Antivirus, or are you using another Antivirus software?
I posted comment on if you decide to uninstall AVG, it may not apply to you.
