Version 0.85 Beta (December 31st, 2007)

1. (FIXED) Critical bug with registry item detection.
2. (FIXED) Improved error handling and messages.
3. (FIXED) Improved bug reporting code.

Just a few minor fixes. We are working very hard on completing the monitor, the scanner is pretty much done except a few speed optimizations. Dig deep for those bugs people .

Maybe... the dialog box saying "Congratulations" (at the end of the process) came as a popunder. I heard the sound and had to go to the Task Bar to find it... I dont remember having done anything during the process. This is not critical, of course and has to be confirmed by someone else.

I plan to do this when we begin porting the program to C++. This will result in a faster, more stable, and obviously portable solution. Once MBAM is released, I bet you somebody is going to make it portable somehow. They made RogueRemover portable a week after it was released.

Updated fine with my W2k VM. I have previously removed the notifier using RR but neglected to save the generated log file to post, I apologize about that.

Re-infected again with a rouge anti-malware application called SpywareBot. MBAM removed all except the downloaded desktop installer for the aforementioned application. Hope this is of help and please bare with myself for any mistakes as just learning about this aspect of IT .

i notice that after i do a scan and when the log comes up part of word time in
time elapsed is left on the gui when i close the log
but if i move the log over a little bit and close it it's not there
