Would like to request an option to either ignore cookies (not really a security issue) or option to remove them from log.

One will often have a user post their logs on a forum for help. We've had to do more work recently because users did not want to post logs since they were showing sites that they did not want to publicly post.

Thanks

We don't scan for cookie :). Ask any helper why they love us because of that.

Thanks Marcin. I didn't currently have an infected PC to test with as I've been too busy at work.
Curious now what was in the users log that made him shy/ashamed to post his log.

Thanks though, I'll report your information back to the other Mods.

Answer - they were going to places where they didn't want others to know - that could be anything from anarchist sites to pr0n to secret dating sites to job hunting (could be from a corporate computer, and they didn't want their boss to know they had been looking for a new job on company time), or even a games site - basically, any site they didn't want someone else to know where they had been. My reasoning, if I were in the same shoes, would probably differ drastically (as would the list of sites my cookies were to reveal) than your list, or Marcin's list, or anyone else's list - so, suffice it to say they didn't want the information made public, whatever information that may have been, and leave it at that.

No matter how things go I can assure you that I will never add defs for cookies .

IMO other antimalware apps list them to pad their results to justify $ .
