I can't turn the ip protection off. :)

Hello :)

Are you running Windows Vista or Windows 7? If so, there is usually a bit of a delay after you uncheck the option for IP Protection in the task tray, sometimes up to 30 seconds or so.

Yeah there was a delay , but you can only disable it from the drop down menu a system tray?

Yes, you can only disable it from the tray icon. If you disable it from running at startup via the settings in the Protection tab in the scanner (mbam.exe) then you're only changing its future behavior, which will take effect after you next restart your PC.
