Still no log to be found in both folders.
I think I might have used the wrong terminology : what I meant was :
When you open MBAM on your desktop and run a flash scan manually, a log is produced and saved.
It's only when you have a flash scan scheduled (i.e. after an update and as you asked to run one) you know it ran but no log is produced.

[Vista 32-bit]
Mind you that was with the Save logfile regardless of user settings, the penultimate option, unticked in the Scheduler's gui.
I'd have thought this shouldn't make any difference but I'm wondering where the logfile should've been / is saved to.

For those of you with the Paid version of Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware:
Please test the following scheduler configurations:
- Open Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and click the Protection tab
- Click on the Scheduler button
- Please make sure that the Scan tab is selected and click the drop down menu next to Frequency and select Once
- Click the drop down next to Type: and select Flash
- Check the following options:
- Perform scheduled scan silently from system account.
- Save log file regardless of user settings.
Set the time of the scan to occur sometime in the near future so you don't have to wait too long.
Once the scan completes, please check the following location to see if a log has been created there:
C:\WINDOWS\system32\config\systemprofile\Application Data\Malwarebytes\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\Logs
Please post back with your findings.
Thanks

Windows Vista and Windows 7:
- C:\ProgramData\Malwarebytes\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\Logs
The latest beta can be downloaded here.
Don't forget, uninstall through Add/Remove Programs/Programs and Features, reboot your computer, then run mbam-clean.exe, reboot again, then install the new beta.
Thanks

This issue has been corrected in the latest beta. The logs will now be found in the same location as the Protection Logs:
Hi,
Windows 7 64 bit (Italian) here
While I cannot find any logs here

I can find only protection log in programdata

and I performed a scheduled update and a scheduled flash scan as per directions
Does it mean I have to download and install the MBAM beta posted above maybe?
(for you info: I already use the pubblic beta, I do not know if the above mentioned link brings to a new build)
Thank you in advance
[EDIT to add] Sorry, I have downloaded the above mentioned beta and I discovered it is a little bit different from the prevoius pubblic beta.
I'm going to install it

Ran a flash scan as requested by Exile and it can now be found in "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Malwarebytes\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\Logs"
If you want any more tests to be done, please let me know.
