Please click on the start flag and in the search line type CMD.EXE and it should show on your list. Right click it and chose Run as administrator

Then type in the following and then press the Enter key line by line one at a time.

SC DELETE PremierOpinion

SC DELETE sptd

CHKDSK /R

This last one will produce something like this. Type Y for yes and allow it to check and repair your hard drive on reboot.

The type of the file system is NTFS.

Cannot lock current drive.

Chkdsk cannot run because the volume is in use by another

process. Would you like to schedule this volume to be

checked the next time the system restarts? (Y/N) Y

Then restart the computer and let me know how it's running when it comes back up.

These items should not really slow down your system I wouldn't think so I need more details on why you think its slow.

Is it Web surfing, or even locally installed applications run slow?
