Hey guys,

when going on the about section and clicking the 'www.malwarebytes.org' button, it opens IE to browse to the site, although I use FF and it has also been set to my standard browser. Is that on purpose? Nothing major, but I prefer to have only FF running. Having two Netbrowsers run would just clog up memory even more :) and with this old brat, the 1.5GB Ram get filled fast :).

Cheers,

YoHi

Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware simply sends an execute command to Windows. Why Windows is not choosing your default browser is beyond me!

Yourhighness (heh), I realize that you stated FF is your standard browser, but it couldn't hurt to take a few seconds and look under the FF Options > Advanced > General tab > System Defaults > select "Always check..... " then click Check Now.

Yeah. Thats the first thing I tried. This "default" browser thing has been a pain of and on. Might have something to do with Firefox.

You could try SetBrowser. It works flawlessly with Opera on my PC.

There is definitely some good info on forcing your default browser here.
