First of all, I think Malwarebytes is about the best I've used and has definitely saved hours of work as it has found things that were totally ignored by Symantec AV and Syamntec Endpoint.

That being said, I actually purchased it today, installed it on my PC and enabled the real-time protection. Unfortunately, opening any application after that took as long as a minute and 15 seconds. Prior to enabling the real-time protection my apps never took more than 3 to 5 seconds tops. I ended up uninstalling Malwarebytes ans will install it only to periodically scan should I become suspicious of anything going on my PC.

Again, let me stress, Malwarebytes has saved the day 4 times in the last 3 weeks. I'm a network engineer, but often deal with virus and malware removal in my job.

We are currently reprogramming our protection module from scratch. It will be 10 times faster than the current one. It should be available in a few weeks. I can offer you a refund for now if you'd like and if you want to test the new version we will have a beta soon.
