I would like to place a desktop shortcut to the mbam logs on my desktop. Can someone tell me where the logs are stored..

Log File Locations

Quick Scan and Full Scan Logs

* Windows 2000 & Windows XP:
C:\Documents and Settings\<USERNAME>\Application Data\Malwarebytes\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\Logs
* Windows Vista & Win7:
C:\Users\<USERNAME>\AppData\Roaming\Malwarebytes\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\Logs

File Protection and IP Protection Logs

* Windows 2000 & Windows XP:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Malwarebytes\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\Logs
* Windows Vista & Win7:
C:\ProgramData\Malwarebytes\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\Logs

Just to add a bit to what WildeGlide said, if a scan is run silently from the system account in the paid version, the scan logs will be in the same location as the protection logs.
